Terms of use

The Roth vs Traditional calculator and its MCP server for AI assistants are free to use, provided by me, Mario (Kind of Lost), as they are, without warranty of any kind.
- Not tax, legal or financial advice, and I'm not a CPA. Results are optimal only for the assumptions you enter (the real return, the future tax rate and the other inputs) and use 2026 US federal tax law held constant; they do not predict the future. Check the plan with a qualified professional before you act on it.
- The model leaves things out (for example self-employed plans, pensions, the 3.8% NIIT and IRMAA unless switched on, and local taxes); see the list on the calculator page.
- Do not use the tool to overload the server or to run automated bulk jobs; runs are rate limited.
- I may change, limit or discontinue the tools at any time.
- To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from using them.
